Boy Wednesday night was fun wasn’t it? Tonight was the opposite of fun. The Avalanche routed the Blues 8-0. There’s no putting a good twist on this one. Well the good part was when it was over.
Mike Hoffman made his debut tonight.
Robert Bortuzzo was hit up high early in the game and didn’t return...Upper body injury? I’m pretty sure he thought today was Spaghetti after this. I’m sure player safety will do everything in its power to do the right...ahhahahahahahahaaha.
Here's #stlblues Robert Bortuzzo early in the 1st.

Coach Berube gave his thoughts on the hit...

If you’re a glutton for punishment, or just wanna see how awful the Blues were here’s the highlight package. If you want to call it that.
Jordan Binnington was the only reason this game was 0-0 after the first period. He was hung out to dry in the second and pulled for Ville Husso in the third.
The Blues had all of 11 shots on goal through 2 periods.
Here’s the captain on tonight’s game.
Ryan O'Reilly: "We embarrassed ourselves tonight. That was very disappointing. The thing is, we came into the game and you could tell we didn't have the detail in it. The little things steamrolled into big things. It was everyone." #stlblues

It wasn’t fun watching it Colton.
Colton Parayko: "It's never fun losing, especially like that. It's on us to just flip the page now." #stlblues pic.twitter.com/qLmDLyYetA
