If it feels like a different player is making his debut every game, that’s because a different player has made his debut every game. Robert Bortuzzo has been placed on the IR due to a hit sustained in Friday night’s 8-0 loss to the Colorado Avalanche, so Carl Gunnarsson will be slotted in alongside Vince Dunn on the third pairing.
Head coach Craig Berube has also made some alterations to the lines after the loss. Zach Sanford is on the top line with Ryan O’Reilly and David Perron, while Jordan Kyrou is on the second with Jaden Schwartz and Brayden Schenn. Mike Hoffman stays with Robert Thomas on the third line.

Berube just calls this tinkering:
“A little more balanced, I’m still tinkering with getting chemistry going,” Berube said. “We like to use four lines, we like them to all be producing and doing good things. That’s all. There might be tinkering for a bit, who knows.”
After Saturday’s loss, you can’t blame him.
