The Blues took in some needed practice on their power play this week, but they also realize that it’d be a swell idea to stop letting the opposition get a chance to have the man advantage quite so often. Coach Craig Berube seems, to a word, tired:
“We can’t go to the box that much. It’s really hard on people, it’s hard on our team,” Berube said. “[We] can’t get to our game because of it. I don’t know where we’re at in the League penalty-wise, but [we] might be leading the League.”
The only people more tired than Chief are the penalty killers, because they had to be out there seven times. The Kings don’t have a strong power play, but if the Blues could limit their chances, that’s still smart stragy.
This is your GameDay Thread. Comment like you’re looking forward to doing this all over again tomorrow night.
Let’s do this. Let’s Go Blues.
