During their last homestand against the San Jose Sharks and Los Angeles Kings, the Blues welcomed 300 socially distanced fans to the Enterprise Center. These weren’t just any fans, though - these were the frontline workers who have been putting forth endless and tiring effort to keep St. Louisans safe.
They’ll be back in attendance on February 2nd when the Arizona Coyotes come to town, but they won’t be the only ones there. The Blues are opening a small number of tickets to season ticket holders tomorrow. The seats will be located on the Plaza Level as well as in the PNC Premier Level, which includes suites. The seat groupings will be in pods of 2-4 people, presumably suggested to be people who are within the same household.
Daily covid cases in Missouri have dropped by about 3200 per day over the last 20 days, mirroring a national trend where the holiday surge has appeared to have cooled off. For the city proper, the positivity rate is down to 8%, and the average daily case rate is down to 62 per day. If current trends hold, the Blues will be able to open up games to more fans as the season continues with the approval of, of course, the health department.
