It’s not as bad as people expected.

Blues fans were understandably concerned when it was announced that they were being shunted in with this season’s West Division. Having to play teams in Arizona and California four times on the road was a red flag to many, despite the NHL’s assurances that they would accommodate fans in the Central Time Zone.

Believe this or not, the NHL stayed true to their word. With no fans in a building, there isn’t much of a reason to worry about start times accommodating travel to the arena after work.

The league added start times to this season’s schedule today. There are only seven games that begin at 9 PM or later, which is a clear nod to Blues fans.
