This has been a very long week for Blues fans. It’s been great watching nearly every other team begin their season while we sit and wait for Saturday night’s game in Denver. Really, really great.
The season’s a couple of days away, and right now, most pundits and people with keyboards aren’t counting the Blues out of staying in the playoff mix right off of the bat. Hopes are high for Jordan Kyrou and Robert Thomas; questions are being asked about the Blues defense and goaltending. No one can actually predict what’s going to happen this season, but we all have things that we would love to see go down.
My list?
- James Neal cracks 20 goals
- Klim Kostin finally seizes his opportunity
- Jordan Binnington starts off strong
- The Blues/Blackhawks rivalry comes back strong
- Vladimir Tarasenko proves that his shoulder works
What about you guys? Any specific players that you’re keeping your eyes on? Any opponents circled on your calendar? Share them in the comments - after all, Friday night is Blues Hockey Eve.
