Last season, the Vegas Golden Knights went 6-1-1 against the Blues. Domination isn’t even the word to describe how lopsided those games tended to look, especially as the season drug on and the Blues were more and more banged up.
My my my, how the turntables.
It’s game three for both teams, and already the Golden Knights are missing their two best forwards, Max Pacioretty and Mark Stone. Marc-Andre Fleury was rewarded for winning the Veznia Trophy with being trade to the Blackhawks. The Blues may have a similar advantage tonight as they did in game one against Colorado, if they can keep the pressure up the entire game.
Pavel Buchnevich is out tonight, suspended for a headbutt, but former Golden Knight James Neal is back in. Vegas also has to factor with the youth movement of the Blues, namely Jordan Kyrou and Klim Kostin, who both had themselves a night on Monday against the Coyotes.
As an added bonus, the Blues are the late game on TNT tonight. Will we be treated to Wayne Gretzky dunking on Biznasty again? Tune in and find out!
This is your GameDay Thread. Comment like you want to see the Blues light up the Golden Knights like Gretzky taking more shots on Charles Barkley.
Let’s do this. Let’s Go Blues.
