Tonight’s lines: Scandella returns, Blais a game-time decision

Parayko’s out so he can rest up.

Colton Parayko, as reported earlier, is sitting out tonight’s game to heal up.

Marco Scandella is back in tonight after sitting the last six games, and Torey Krug, who left Monday afternoon’s game early with an upper body injury is good to go. This means that the defense, even with the loss of Parayko, looks pretty decent. Carl Gunnarsson will be paired up alongside Scandella.

The forward lines are exactly what we saw during the Blues’ last two games against the Coyotes, nearly entirely out of necessity. Blais is listed as a game time decision, but as perfectly cromulent as the plug-ins from the taxi squad were against Arizona, it shouldn’t be shocking if we see Craig Berube roll with them to give Blais an extra game to get back into game shape.

Here are tonight’s projected lines:

Forwards

Barbashev - O’Reilly - Perron

Hoffman - Schenn - Kyrou

Sanford - Sundqvist - Poganski

Clifford - de la Rose - MacEachern

Defense

Krug - Faulk

Scandella - Gunnarsson

Dunn - Bortuzzo

Goalie

Binnington
