It’s great that the Blues have managed a point in three out of their last four losses. It’s less great that this losing streak has helped knock the Blues down to fourth in the West Division and six points behind the Vegas Golden Knights.
Life comes at you fast in a short season, and the Blues are a pretty good example of that so far this year. All it takes is a hit to knock a key player out for an extended period of time. Thankfully, players come back - Tyler Bozak is playing in a game for the first time in a month and a half tonight. Friday, Jaden Schwartz should be back.
The LTIR did gain one Colton Parayko today, but that shouldn’t surprise anyone. The move clears salary for Bozak and Schwartz, and honestly, no one knows when Parayko’s returning anyway.
