The Blues are on a five game losing streak - the return of Vladimir Tarasenko’s not going to fix the defense - but there could be a lot to smile about tonight.
Jaden Schwartz is back, and he’s right where he’s supposed to be: on a line with Brayden Schenn and Tarasenko. The SST line has been reunited. The rest of the line-up looks pretty back to normal as well:
Forwards
Kyrou - O’Reilly - Perron
Schwartz - Schenn - Tarasenko
Sanford - Bozak - Hoffman
Clifford - Sundqvist - Blais
Defense
Krug - Faulk
Scandella - Dunn
Walman - Bortuzzo
Goalie
Binnington
Ok, as normal as it can look without Colton Parayko on defense, that is. Obviously, missing Ivan Barbashev is a major loss, but the forwards are solid. Unfortunately, Schwartz’s return and the line tweaking means Dakota Joshua is sitting tonight. He’s made quite an impression on Craig Berube and the fans since his call-up; chances are good if someone goes down, he’s going back in well before Jacob de la Rose does.
This is your GameDay Thread. Comment like you just gotta have a little faith.
Let’s do this. Let’s Go Blues.
