The Blues have a new addition to their jerseys tonight. It’s not one that any of us ever wanted them to have to add, but as a tribute, it’s perfect:
This will be the Blues’ first home game since the death of their franchise legend. It’s tough to imagine the Blues organization without Bob Plager, someone who had such a deep love for the team and the city. During warm-ups, the Blues have another tribute planned to one of their founding fathers:
Tonight our team will wear these vintage Plager jerseys during pregame warm-ups.— St. Louis Blues (@StLouisBlues) March 26, 2021
Fans can bid on them now through March 30 at 9 p.m. Proceeds benefit St. Louis small businesses impacted by COVID-19 through the Blues Alumni Assistance Fund.

Neither tribute is anything flashy, but neither was Bobby. He worked hard every game. Here’s hoping the Blues do the same tonight.
