Wild at Blues GameDay Thread: Will the explosive offense be back?

Last night’s 9-1 win was a romp for the ages.

I think it’s perfectly valid for Blues fans to want another game like last night, especially after how much of a drag this last month has been. To say that last night’s game was cathartic is an understatement for the ages. They didn’t just get the monkey off of their back, they knocked King Kong all of the way back to Skull Island.

The Wild, well, they’ll play better tonight. Cam Talbot is starting, and the rest of the team won’t let another blowout happen. They’re professionals, and they’re proud - and they’re a better team this year than many expected.

A win tonight gets the Blues back into playoff position and six points behind the Wild for third place. To say getting out of this game with two points is important is an understatement. It doesn’t matter if it’s a 2-1 win or another blowout - the Blues just need to win.

This is your GameDay Thread. Comment like you’d like to see Jaden Schwartz score a few more insurance goals - and by insurance, I mean against him getting dealt on Monday.

Let’s Do This. Let’s Go Blues.
