The St. Louis Blues released details today of next weekend’s memorial for Blues legend Bobby Plager, who passed away on March 24th. Bobby was the heart and soul of the franchise, and the team is honoring him with a public visitation and private Celebration of Life ceremony that will be live streamed.
The public visitation will be held this Friday from 4-8PM at the Enterprise Center. The team requests attendees enter at the 14th & Clark entrance, and follow all Enterprise Center safety protocols (no bags, masks should be worn, and social distancing will be observed).
On Sunday, the Blues will live-stream the private Celebration of Life tribute on the team’s website and official YouTube channel at 2 PM. The event will feature remembrances from teammates, family, friends, and members of the St. Louis Blues from over the decades.
Following the tribute, at 3:30, Blues fans are invited to line Market Street and the 2019 Stanley Cup parade route to say one last goodbye to Mr. Blue as the procession travels to a private burial ceremony.
