No one said playing the Avalanche would be easy. Literally, no one said that.
They were pegged to be the top team in the West by a good chunk of hockey pundits, and they’ve hit their stride at the best possible time. The Blues, however, have hit their slide at the worst possible time. They’re in fifth place in the West now, just a couple of games above .500, and their schedule is murder for the rest of the season.
There’s still time to fix this, and one game could be all that it takes to snap them out of this mess. Will Ville Husso making the start be enough to get the Blues over the hump? He played well in his last start, a 5-2 Blues victory over the Sharks on March 20th. That nightnwas the last time the Blues won a game.
This is your GameDay Thread. Comment like you’re not sweating it at all.
Let’s do this. Let’s Go Blues.
