I know that the Minnesota Wild probably aren’t anyone’s definition of “rival” as far as the Blues are concerned, but they certainly are right now. Tonight and tomorrow night they play in St. Louis, and Monday the Blues will be heading northward to play the Wild at XCel. These three games are of key importance to the Blues, who sit 10 points behind Minnesota in the standings. If they want to go to the playoffs, the road might just go through St. Paul.
Thank goodness it’s getting warmer up there.
Mike Hoffman’s road to the playoffs may be traveled with a different team. Here’re today’s lines and to no one’s surprise, Craig Berube is starting the same lineup as Wednesday night. Does this necessarily mean that Hoff is gone? Absolutely not. We’re not going to know until Monday. But let’s just say that if he is out the door, it won’t be shocking.
This is your GameDay Thread. Comment like you want to take these next three games from the Wild to prove Binnington right.
Let’s do this. Let’s Go Blues.
