At the time of writing this GameDay Thread, the NHL’s Department of Player Safety have yet to decide on Nazem Kadri’s punishment for a high shoulder to head hit on Justin Faulk. Thanks to that hit and an elbow to the head of Robert Bortuzzo, this is the mess that the Blues’ lines for tonight’s game will more than likely be:
Forwards
Barbashev - O’Reilly - Kyrou
Schwartz - Schenn - Tarasenko
Hoffman - Bozak - Thomas
Clifford - Sanford - Blais
Defense
Parayko
Krug
Scandella
Mikkola
(Dunn)
(Santini)
(Reinke)
Goalie
Binnington
The parentheses mean that no one has any idea who the bottom pairing is. That’s fun.
If you believe Sammy Blais, the Blues should be extra motivated tonight against a team that took out two key players.
Sammy Blais: "Our type of game is to be physical and be hard on them. It's the playoffs and they hurt a couple of our players. We just take that as motivation and we're going to try to be ready for a big game tonight." #stlblues

If you watched any game the Blues played against Vegas after Mark Stone knocked Tyler Bozak out of commission for a quarter of the season, you may take that with a grain of salt.
This is your GameDay Thread. Comment like you hope that Blais is onto something.
Let’s do this. Let’s Go Blues.
