Torey Krug and Vince Dunn are still out, and it looks like Dunn may be out for a while longer.

Zach Sanford on the top line feels like a prime chance to ask what blackmail material he has on the Blues’ coaching staff until you remember that he scored four against Vegas last February.

Can he manage that again tonight? The odds aren’t in his favor, but weirder things have happened. Can he manage to not turn the puck over is probably a question more Blues fans have on their mind than anything else.

Every season needs a whipping boy, and this year the job falls on Sanford.

Jordan Binnington will be starting in net tonight. So far this year Binnington is 2-1-1 against Vegas with a 3.45 GAA and a .914 save percentage.
