St. Louis Blues 2015 Training Camp
Rattie, Lindbohm, Butler, Paajarvi To Wolves
The Blues' roster is nearly to opening night numbers.
Blues Waive Chris Butler, Magnus Paajarvi
Waivers: CHRIS BUTLER STL MAGNUS PAAJARVI-SVENSSON STL REID MCNEILL PIT WILL O'NEILL PIT
— Renaud Lavoie (@renlavoietva) September 30, 2015
If you've been keeping up with camp and preseason, neither of these waivers should strike you as a huge surprise. Colton Parayko has been impressive and has really been pushing for a roster spot. Decent showings from Scottie Upshall and Scott Gomez coupled with the fact that Rattie and Fabbri have passed Paajarvi on the depth chart also doesn't make his being waived a shock. He has been the square peg in Ken Hitchcock's system since day one.
Blues Cut Nineteen From Camp Roster
The Blues sent 14 down to the Wolves today, and ended the PTOs of five others.

Steen-Stastny-Tarasenko At Tonight's Home Game
Looks like we will see these two line combinations for the #StlBlues tonight at Scottrade: Steen-Stastny-Tarasenko Fabbri-Schwartz-Backes

I, for one, enjoy these lines. Unfortunately, neither game tonight will be broadcast. Would someone who is at Scottrade let folks in the GDT know how these lines look (and if they stay together longer than half of a period)?

Breaking down the "Buy-In" Factor
What does this constantly spurted out phrase mean? In a team meeting put together for fans, Ken Hitchcock and his coaches discuss it in depth. I react.
Allen Pulled Yesterday With Back Spasms, Listed As Day-to-Day
Allen (back spasms) was pulled out of practice today. Hitch said they'll keep an eye on him. #stlblues
— Jeremy Rutherford (@jprutherford) September 19, 2015
Back spasms happen for a lot of reasons, so jumping to conclusions regarding with this means for the team this year is a bit premature. Regardless, the team's keeping an eye on him and he is currently listed as day to day.
Steen, Stastny, Tarasenko Together Today
Steen-Stastny-Tarasenko together today. Could very well stick as the season begins. #stlblues
— Lou Korac (@lkorac10) September 19, 2015
This line has a lot of potential, and by potential I mean ability to terrorize the opposition. Tarasenko was discussing playing with Steen in this clip from the first day of camp, and he was happy to be out there with him. What do you guys think of the odds of this line sticking?
