As the free agency window sets to officially open for business later this morning . . . I remind you that the Blues should not re-sign Steve Ott. There are plenty of reasons why, but I only have a few.
David Backes should get a chance to retire a Blue
Signing him to an extension of reasonable length this offseason would go a long way toward that end, but considering the shelf life of power forwards, it may end up being the last deal he signs. I've heard of worse ideas.
