Blues Prospect Vladimir Tarasenko Scores Tremendous Goal For SKA St. Petersburg

New, comments

The 2010 first rounder has four goals in three games for SKA St. Petersburg and is lighting up the league. How long until he lights the lamp at Scottrade.

You really probably don't need any extra ammo to hate the lockout. We're coming up on opening weekend, and instead of being excited we're just all waiting for the NHL to cancel games. Here's something to make you more depressed: Vladimir Tarasenko taking a direct pass from Ilya Kovalchuk and scoring this outstanding goal.

How much longer will we have to wait until we can see goals like this being scored for the Blues? I mean, sure, we don't have Kovy, but come on. A pass from T.J. Oshie or David Perron? Doesn't this just make you want to drive to New York and kick Gary Bettman in the shins? It sure as heck does me.

As a side note, Tank has four goals in three games over in the KHL. I don't think he'll be getting fourth-line minutes anymore with SKA St. Petersburg. I think he'll be just fine.
